Are my files private?
Guest originals, exports, and extracted rows are scheduled for purge when the 24-hour session expires. Signed-in and organization originals and exports are scheduled for deletion after 7 days; their extracted rows remain until you delete the conversion.
Which exports are available?
CSV and XLSX are available for full exports. QBO and OFX are experimental exports: they require complete details for exactly one account and one statement, use masked account identifiers, and must be tested in the destination software. StatementExport does not provide direct synchronization, and these exports are not certified by any accounting application.
Does it work with scanned statements?
Scanned pages use local Tesseract OCR. OCR results can contain errors and must be reviewed.
What about password-protected PDFs?
Password-protected PDFs are rejected. Save an unlocked copy of the PDF and upload that copy.
Can I export a bank statement for free?
Yes. In each 24-hour guest session, the first eligible PDF up to 5 pages claims full CSV and XLSX export without sign-up or a card. PDFs over 5 pages or files uploaded while another PDF owns the free slot receive a preview and sample export of up to 25 transactions. Failed or empty processing releases the slot for a retry or later upload.
