A bank statement converter built for bookkeeper review
Turn PDF statement rows into a review queue: check warnings, compare recorded evidence with the source page, correct transactions, and export CSV or XLSX after review.
The first eligible PDF up to 5 pages in each 24-hour guest session includes full CSV/XLSX free. Signed-in processing uses page credits; every result still requires professional review.
Preview before export
Inspect extracted rows and statement details before choosing an output.
Correction with context
Filter warnings or low-confidence rows and inspect recorded source evidence.
Standard full exports
Use CSV for text imports or XLSX for a reviewable workbook.
From extraction to a documented review decision
StatementExport separates extraction from approval. The preview shows editable transactions, statement metadata, warnings, and reconciliation results so a bookkeeper can decide what needs attention instead of treating parsed rows as final accounts.
Where field evidence was recorded and the source page is still available, the reviewer can compare a date, description, amount, or balance with the rendered PDF page. Corrections recalculate extracted totals and reconciliation results; they do not certify accounting treatment.
A two-row queue with evidence and status
This fictional example shows the kind of context available during review. It contains no customer or bank data.
| Date | Description | Debit | Credit | Source | Review |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| 2026-06-03 | Office rent | 1,250.00 | Page 2 | Check warning | |
| 2026-06-04 | Client receipt | 2,400.00 | Page 2 | Corrected |
Synthetic illustration only. A reconciliation status describes the available arithmetic checks, not accounting correctness.
Keep uncertain rows visible
Focused queues
Filter all, low-confidence, warning, or corrected transactions.
Source evidence
When recorded, field evidence identifies the source page, extraction method, confidence, and highlight area.
Reconciliation signals
See Reconciled, Within tolerance, Needs review, Not available, or Failed based on available balances and rows.
Bookkeeping-ready columns
Export dates, descriptions, debit, credit, balance, currency, confidence, and supporting summary fields.
Review one statement from source to export
-
1. Upload an unlocked PDF
The statement is validated and processed; scanned pages may use local Tesseract OCR.
-
2. Triage the queue
Start with warnings, low-confidence fields, metadata gaps, and reconciliation differences.
-
3. Compare and correct
Use available source evidence, edit rows or metadata, and review recalculated results.
-
4. Confirm and export
Confirm the review, then download the standard full export as CSV or XLSX.
What the workflow does not decide
The converter organizes extracted evidence and arithmetic signals. It does not replace judgment or source-document review.
- Extraction and OCR can omit or misread rows, dates, amounts, balances, and descriptions.
- Reconciliation can be Not available when opening or closing balances are missing; other statuses do not certify accounting correctness.
- Field-level evidence is shown only when it was recorded, and source pages may become unavailable after the original file is deleted.
- Uploads accept unlocked PDFs within the current file and page limits; password-protected PDFs are rejected.
